Partner links
Some links on this site go to companies that may pay us a commission if you book or buy through them: the partner boxes on our guide pages and our travel search. You pay the same price as you would going to them directly. Every partner box is labelled “Paid links”, the travel search says so on every page, and we mark these links as paid links for search engines.
You book with them, not with us
We don't sell travel, and we never take your payment. When you book through a partner, you book on its own site, under its terms, and it looks after your booking: changes, refunds and questions go to the partner.
Our sister company
For airport pickups and car hire in Kenya we point you to our sister company, Urban Escape Luxury Cars, and never to anyone else.
Group trips
When a group sends a request from our group trips page, we pass it, with the organiser's permission, to the licensed travel agent who plans our group trips. If the group books, the agent may pay us a referral fee. The group pays the agent's normal price, and the agent, not us, takes the payment and looks after the trip.
What partners don't get
Partners don't pay to appear in our guides, and they don't see or approve our guides before we publish them. A partner box sits after a guide's own text, never inside its advice. The partner boxes and the travel search show what the partners' own sites offer, and we don't vet those listings.
